The role of a Field Service Technician is to troubleshoot a variety of our machine tools. This position is great for someone that is self-motivated and wants to travel. This job keeps everyday exciting due to the wide variety of tasks that it involves. They range from spindle rebuilds, troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic system, and CNCs. It also includes build and addition of new equipment for upgrades to existing systems;
this includes accurate alignment practices on high precision equipment.
- Two year certificate from college or technical school
- Three to five years of related experience
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies, understand tolerances, and be able to read drawings (detail and assembly).
- After Training, have a thorough knowledge of all Hydromat machines.
Ability to run machines such as a bandsaw, drill press, mill & lathe machines.
Familiarity with Fanuc robotics and/or CNC
Have a thorough knowledge of Hydromat machines.
This position requires a first shift work schedule, ability to travel as business needs dictate, up to 50%. As a bonus, you keep your travel points.
