Trailer Technician / Diesel Mechanic (Shop) - Up to $30 per hour, Tools Provided, Full Benefits
Bridgeton, MO
OverviewAAA Truck & Trailer Services is seeking experienced Trailer Technicians and Diesel Mechanics to join our team in the St. Louis Metro region. With expanded operations across Missouri and Illinois, we are growing and looking for skilled trades professionals.
What You'll Do- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trailers
- Complete preventative maintenance services
- Repair and maintain brake systems, air systems, lighting systems, landing gear, and trailer doors
- Perform chassis repairs and light truck repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete major trailer body repairs, including panel replacement and rail repairs
- Perform welding repairs as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
- Minimum 3 years of trailer repair, diesel repair, fleet maintenance, or heavy equipment repair experience
- Hands-on repair experience on commercial semi-trucks or trailers in areas such as air brake systems, welding and panel/structural repair, or suspension and landing gear
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Welding experience
- Heavy equipment experience
- Experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment
