A successful electrical company based out of St. Augustine is actively searching for a Construction Controller to join their team. This company specializes in new construction as well servicing large commercial buildings such as apartments, hotels, and office buildings throughout the area.

We are looking for an experienced Controller with construction industry experience to join our growth oriented company who shares our philosophy of running an electrical business with a primary focus on the safety and welfare of our employees.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain financial controls and procedures for all construction projects
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for each project, including budget vs actual analysis and cash flow projections
• Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS
• Coordinate with project managers to review project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place
• Monitor project expenses and report any variances to senior management
• Work closely with the project team to identify and manage project risks
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including banks and other financial institutions

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting and financial management
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
• Experience with project management and cost control
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
