Buyer II Assistant | Supply Chain

Overview

The Buyer Level II Assistant initiates purchase orders for stock and non-stock materials in conformance with departmental procedures. Performs various computer input duties with respect to the MMIS database system. Resolves receiving and vendor invoice discrepancies in a timely manner while assuming responsibility for various projects as directed by management.

• Coordinate all purchasing, receiving, and invoicing of equipment ordered by the department for use in the organization.
• Review, prepare and submit supply chain/purchasing reports to Manager or Director as required.
• Maintain Director’s schedule, Outlook meetings, voicemail retrieval, Excel data entry, and PowerPoint presentations.
• Maintain vendor management system; check in/check out. Maintain adequate supplies; ensure functionality daily.
• Perform all activities of the forms management process.
• Ensure that departmental files are maintained in an accurate and orderly fashion.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management within job scope.

Education / Training:

• High School Diploma/GED

Experience Requirements:

• 0 - 1 year Warehouse/Logistics or Clerical Office/Assistant
