Temporary assignment during the 2026 election season (June–November)
We are seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused individuals for an Election Clerk opportunity supporting election operations in St. Augustine, FL.
This role is ideal for candidates with customer service, clerical, administrative, or call center experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced public service environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer incoming calls and assist voters with election-related inquiries
• Provide information on voter registration, vote-by-mail ballots, and election procedures
• Perform clerical and administrative support tasks
• Scan, file, index, and organize election documents
• Assist with election preparation, materials, and records maintenance
• Support voter outreach and election education efforts as needed
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Administrative, clerical, office, or call center experience preferred
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays during election periods
• Must be a registered voter in the State of Florida
Preferred
• Bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates encouraged to apply ($20/hr rate)
Schedule Requirements
Candidates must have full flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak election activity.
