Strategic Art Advisor – Gallery

Job Title: Strategic Partner / Director of Growth – Ovico Gallery (Art World)

Location: St. Augustine, FL / Hybrid / Remote (Travel as needed)

Compensation: Equity, revenue share, or hybrid (based on experience and contribution)

Ovico Gallery is a fine art gallery specializing in contemporary African art, with a focused program featuring the works of Nigerian contemporary artist Chike Onuorah. The gallery is building a strong presence through curated exhibitions, collector engagement, and cultural programming, and is now seeking a strategic partner to accelerate growth and market reach.

This is not a traditional employment role. We are seeking a high‑level, well‑connected art world professional to join as a strategic growth partner. The right person will help expand Ovico Gallery’s collector base, drive high‑value sales and placements, and strengthen the gallery’s market positioning nationally and internationally.

• Develop and grow Ovico Gallery’s collector and client base
• Leverage existing relationships with collectors, advisors, designers, institutions, and corporate buyers
• Drive sales, placements, and strategic partnerships
• Advise on pricing, positioning, and market strategy
• Help shape the long‑term growth strategy of the gallery

• Strong network in the art world (collectors, advisors, galleries, institutions, or corporate art buyers)
• Proven experience selling or placing fine art
• Strategic mindset with a commercial understanding of the art market
• Ability to bring capital, investor access, or consistent high‑value deal flow is a strong plus
• Entrepreneurial, relationship‑driven, and growth‑oriented

This role can be structured as:

• Equity participation, and/or
• Revenue share / commission override, and/or
• Hybrid structure based on contribution and performance
