At Anderson Ord, we believe premium products deserve premium presentation. As we continue to expand our custom decoration capabilities, we're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer to lead the visual execution of our DTG and custom headwear programs.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, production, and process improvement. You'll create customer mockups, prepare production-ready artwork, develop new decoration concepts, and help grow one of the fastest-expanding areas of our business.
What You'll Do- Design custom DTG and headwear mockups for wholesale accounts and green grass customers.
- Create production-ready artwork for direct-to-garment printing, patches, and specialty decoration.
- Build and organize production files, purchase orders, and supporting documentation for manufacturing.
- Develop original artwork concepts, patch designs, and decoration ideas that create new sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Production teams to bring customer projects to life.
- Ensure artwork is accurate, on brand, and production-ready before release.
- Help improve workflows, templates, file organization, and internal systems for greater efficiency.
- Research and introduce new decoration techniques, materials, and customization opportunities.
- Support the continued growth of Anderson Ord's DTG and headwear business across wholesale, corporate, and eCommerce channels, with a primary focus on the green grass market.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of print production, vector artwork, color management, and file preparation.
- Experience creating apparel graphics, embroidery artwork, patches, or branded merchandise is highly preferred.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Creative problem solver with a passion for improving processes and finding new opportunities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Experience in the apparel, promotional products, golf, or lifestyle industries.
- Familiarity with embroidery digitizing concepts and DTG production workflows.
- Experience preparing artwork for screen print, embroidery, and custom patch production.
- Knowledge of apparel decoration trends and premium branding.
