Dental Hygienist Position

Dental Care on Longleaf is seeking a qualified Dental Hygienist to join our team.

6915 Longleaf Pine Pkwy, St. Johns, Florida 32259

• Monday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Two‑doctor practice using Dentrix software with 60‑minute recall appointments and 90‑minute new‑patient visits.

Hourly pay with optional daily pay and eligibility for daily and quarterly bonuses.

Access to Arestin, iTero, Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner and digital X‑rays, with continuing education coverage available.

Full‑time (minimum 30 hours) qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package, including United Healthcare PPO health care, 401(k), dental, vision, wellness program, six paid holidays and paid time off.

• Florida dental hygienist license
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required)
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR certification

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital X‑rays, and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to provide preventative care and maintain patients’ dental health

Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 45 pounds, and attend virtual or in‑person training sessions as scheduled. A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions, except in FL & TN.
