The Dental Assistant Manager is responsible for leading and developing the dental assisting team, ensuring clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and an exceptional patient experience. This individual will partner closely with doctors and practice leadership to maintain high standards of patient care while fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and develop dental assistants across the practice
- Support and coach team members to achieve clinical and service excellence
- Monitor and maintain high standards of patient care and safety
- Promote efficient clinical workflows and operational effectiveness
- Collaborate with providers and leadership to ensure practice success
- Help create a positive, engaged, and accountable team culture
Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break)
- One day per week coverage as manager until 6:30 PM
- Prior dental assisting experience
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Passion for patient care and team development
- Organized, adaptable, and solutions-oriented

Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop Dental Assistants
- Oversee onboarding, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety regulations
- Optimize scheduling and clinical workflows
- Manage inventory, ordering, and equipment readiness
- Drive and continuously elevate the patient experience through proactive leadership and systematic service improvements
- Perform audits and enforce quality standards
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience
- 1+ years of leadership experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures and infection control
- Exceptional leadership skills with proven ability to motivate teams, communicate effectively across all levels, and implement efficient organizational systems
