Looking for a school-based SLP role where your work truly matters, and your schedule supports real life? We’re partnering with a growing, welcoming school district in St. Johns, FL and are hiring an on‑site Speech‑Language Pathologist to support student communication and success.
Responsibilities- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress.
- Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required.
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
- Active SLP license in the state of FL (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with school‑aged children is preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.
- Work in a structured, school‑based setting with built‑in school holidays.
- Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to make a direct impact on student success.
