Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license valid in Florida
- Previous experience in a school-based OT setting preferred
- Enthusiastic about working with K-8 student populations
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Assess and evaluate students functional abilities and needs related to occupational therapy
- Develop tailored OT intervention plans to enhance students educational performance and independence
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and small group settings
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and interventions in accordance with school and legal guidelines
- Collaborate with educators and parents, contributing to IEP meetings and classroom support strategies
- Promote student engagement and participation across all school routines and activities
