Project Engineer, CAD​/ AutoCAD​/ Mechanical Design

• Determines project requirements by reviewing quotes, specifications, plans, and customer requirements.
• Supports Rulon sales team in providing first-rate customer service.
• Creates, organizes, and submits product data and shop drawings for approval.
• Controls costs while satisfying design requirements and contractor installation needs.
• Confirms order with customer by performing material take-offs and generating Order Confirmations.
• Creates manufacturing drawings and bills of materials for Production.
• Collaborates with manufacturing team to provide all project specific information needed.
• Supports customer through installation process as required.
• Rulon office hours are from 8am to 5pm Monday – Friday.
• Travel is required infrequently, typically no more than 2 times per year.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational Skills.
• Ability to work on many projects concurrently.
• CAD experience preferred (AutoCAD and Solid Works used).
• Commercial Construction and/or Manufacturing Experience.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering discipline is preferred. Experience considered.
• Experience, especially Millwork Experience, is a huge plus.
