Responsibilities
• Perform in the mascot suit for up to 30 minutes at a time while maintaining energy and enthusiasm.
• Stand and remain physically active for periods longer than 45 minutes.
• Engage with fans, students, alumni, and guests in a positive and professional manner.
• Participate in high-energy activities such as walking, dancing, and light athletic movements.
• Maintain costume cleanliness and ensure proper care and storage.
• Uphold the character of the mascot at all times, without breaking role.
• Attend and participate in athletic games, campus events, and community functions.
• Follow event schedules and coordinate with handlers or event staff for appearances.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a current Flagler College student.
- Ability to perform physically demanding activities in a full-body costume.
- Able to stand and be active for extended periods.
- Evening and weekend availability.
- Positive, energetic personality with strong school spirit.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Comfortable interacting with diverse audiences.
- Able to work well in a team setting.
- Experience performing, acting, or dancing.
- Customer service or public engagement experience.
- Must be able to perform in a mascot suit for up to 30 minutes at a time.
- Ability to stand and remain physically active for more than 45 minutes.
- Requires bending, lifting, and performing in warm conditions inside the costume.
- Frequent evening and weekend hours for games, events, and community appearances.
