Universal Banker – St. Augustine

Barwick Banking Company is seeking a versatile and customer ‑ focused Universal Banker to support both teller and platform functions within the branch. This role is ideal for team members who enjoy a blend of customer service, sales support, and operational responsibilities. The Universal Banker serves as a key point of contact for customers, providing high ‑ quality service while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and professionalism in every interaction.

• Deliver exceptional service to customers in person, by phone and through digital channels.
• Assist with account inquiries, transactions, product information and issue resolution.
• Identify customer needs and make appropriate referrals for deposit accounts, loans and digital banking services.
• Support customer onboarding and promote the Bank’s products and services.

• Perform routine teller transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cash drawer accuracy and follow all cash ‑ handling and dual ‑ control procedures.
• Assist with vault operations, branch balancing and daily reconciliation tasks.
• Open and maintain consumer deposit accounts in accordance with Bank policies.
• Review documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with debit card requests, online banking setup and account maintenance tasks.

• Follow all Bank policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain awareness of fraud prevention practices and escape suspicious activity.
• Support audit readiness and ensure adherence to operational and security standards.
• Provide backup support across teller and platform functions as needed.
• Work closely with branch leadership to support daily workflow and customer traffic.
• Contribute to a positive, team ‑ oriented branch environment.

• Minimum 1 year of banking, teller, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong cash ‑ handling accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to learn and apply banking regulations, policies and procedures.
• Proficiency with banking systems, Microsoft Office and digital tools.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and commitment to customer service.
