Part-time Caregiver - St. Augustine

Overview

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life. This is an independent contract position and pays $16.00 per hour.

Schedule: Hours and days flexible.

• Have a positive outlook and contagious energy
• Demonstrate patience and compassion

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Supporting with personal hygiene
• Meal/snack preparation and feeding assistance
• Ensuring the individual’s safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Performing light housekeeping tasks
• Facilitating community involvement by accompanying the individual to social events and community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promoting communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Completing daily progress notes

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
