Position: Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) - Saint Augustine, Florida
A 50-bed rehabilitation hospital in Jacksonville, FL, is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist-in-Charge to support their pharmacy operations on an interim basis. This contract role requires a pharmacist willing to take on both Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) and Director of Pharmacy (DOP) responsibilities. Candidates with hospital experience are highly preferred, but a motivated pharmacist ready to lead is the primary need.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders for accuracy and compliance
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and ensuring smooth workflow
• Consulting with nursing and medical staff regarding medication therapies
• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations in compliance with regulations
• Assuming interim PIC and Director of Pharmacy duties

Qualifications:

• Active Florida pharmacist license
• Hospital experience is strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage staff effectively

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts
