Baptist Silverleaf is hiring a Patient Access Representative II to join our Patient access team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Part-Time opportunity, Tuesday/Wednesday 6:45 am - 7:15 pm.

Patient Access Representative II,

Job Responsibilities:

Registers patients accurately and efficiently

Utilization of multiple systems and interfaces

Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas

Maintains service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters

Contributes to PAS Goals as defined annually (Collections, Palm Scanning, etc.)Possesses a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHOMaintains a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members

Able to articulate compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms

Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Experience Requirements:1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required1-2 years Healthcare experience Preferred1-2 years Insurance experience Preferred High School Diploma Required Primary
