UF Health Heart and Vascular (located at 3901 University Blvd. S. Jacksonville, FL.) Performs echocardiograms on adults in outpatient setting.

Education
: GED or High School Diploma.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
Skills/Experience- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer/patient service, problem solving, time management and organizational skill, be a team player, excellent communication skills including telephone etiquette.
- Ability to recognize life-threatening findings and notify physicians.
- Ability to calculate test results.
- Uses good body mechanics.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Serves as patient advocate.
- Good organizational skills basic computer data entry.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
CCI or ARDMS required within one (1) year of hire or transfer date.
