This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist position in a retail setting, available on a per diem (PRN) basis. The role is scheduled for July 13th, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, working within the Prime Rx system. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of retail pharmacy experience to be eligible.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients and counsel them regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Review and verify prescription orders for accuracy and patient safety
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records within the Prime Rx system
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication management
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
Experience:
- Licensed pharmacist with a valid state pharmacy license
- Minimum of two years of retail pharmacy experience required
- Proficiency working with Prime Rx or similar pharmacy management systems
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Retail pharmacy based in Saint Augustine, FL
- July 13th, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Per Diem/PRN)
