Pro Care Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a school-based maternity leave opportunity with St. Johns County School District in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a full-time, onsite-only position covering the first 12 weeks of the  school year.

This is a great opportunity for a Physical Therapist who enjoys supporting students in a school-based setting, collaborating with educational teams, and helping students safely access their learning environment.

• Provide school-based physical therapy services to students
• Support students with mobility, accessibility, motor development, and functional participation
• Deliver direct therapy services based on student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and service records
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
• Travel between assigned school sites as needed for an itinerant role

• Active Florida DOH Physical Therapist License required
• School-based experience preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide therapy services in an educational setting
• Comfortable working across multiple school sites if needed
• Must be available for onsite services only

• Fingerprints will need to be completed
• Previous fingerprints completed for a Florida school district may still be valid if available through the AHCA Clearinghouse
• Once cleared, the provider will apply for a JLA badge
• JLA badge processing may take up to 10 business days once cleared
