Baptist Medical Center is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist for our free-standing Emergency Department Silverleaf in St. Augustine, FL
. This is a full-time, night shift opportunity. We are looking to hire an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with breathing disorders
- Administering respiratory therapies
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Monitoring and managing mechanical ventilators for patients who require respiratory support
- Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Providing patient education and support on proper breathing techniques, medication usage, and lifestyle changes
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient assessments, treatments, and progress documentation
- Associate of Science in Respiratory Therapy Required
- Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS) Preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
