GENERAL SUMMARY
  • Greet patients in a professional, friendly manner and explain procedures clearly.
  • Produce high-quality radiographs to support accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain and update patient EMRs; provide copies of images upon request.
  • Ensure images are uploaded correctly into PACS.
  • Perform equipment checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance; arrange repairs when needed.
  • Monitor radiation safety, protecting patients and staff at all times.
  • Maintain proper levels of radiology supplies and follow departmental safety protocols.
Essential Functions
  • Deliver safe, efficient diagnostic imaging services.
  • Follow infection-control, OSHA, and departmental policies to maintain a safe environment.
  • Assist with patient positioning and transfers to capture optimal images.
  • Support smooth clinic operations by balancing quality standards with patient care needs.
  • Travel intermittently between clinic locations, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma/GED required.
  • Experience: 1+ year in urgent care or patient care setting preferred; EMR knowledge helpful.
  • Knowledge: Medical terminology, diagnostic imaging practices, anatomy, radiographic safety, and equipment handling.
  • Skills: Strong customer service, attention to detail, communication, and analytical abilities.
