CT Technologist, CT Department, Part-Time Nights, Baptist ED Silverleaf

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf in St. Augustine, Florida. This is a part-time night opportunity, working two 12-hour night shifts per week, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM. Participation in the on-call and holiday rotation is required. Emergency Department (ED) experience is preferred.

Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

Customer Service Experience

Experience Working in a Hospital Setting

If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARDMS or ARRT (CT) within 18 months of hire date.
