What You'll Do

Sun Hospitality Resort Services is hiring a Housekeeping Inspector for a seasonal, onsite role in St. Augustine, FL. This position exists to protect the guest experience by confirming rooms and common areas meet our standards for cleanliness, readiness, and safety.

• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces for quality and safety standards
• Note deficiencies, document findings, and report results to supervisors
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other teams to resolve issues quickly
• Support consistent quality through feedback and follow-up checks

• Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset
• Clear communication and a respectful, team-oriented approach
• Basic organization/time management; able to stay on pace in a busy hotel setting
• Flexibility to work a seasonal schedule onsite

Pay is $15-$16/hr if you take pride in high standards and want to help deliver a great stay.

You'll start by checking in for the day's room list and priorities, then move through the property at a steady pace - switching between guest floors and shared spaces as needs change. Between inspections, you'll pause to capture notes, update your status, and touch base with teammates so everyone stays aligned on what's ready and what needs another pass. As the day picks up, you'll adjust to last-minute turns and changing check-in times, keeping your focus on consistency and guest-ready details.

You'll wrap up by confirming open items are communicated and closing out your documentation before heading out.
