Senior Criminal Justice Information Technician
Competitive advertisement at 074 - St. Augustine Circuit Office. This role is not a telework position and requires reporting to the FDC office where the individual serves.
Responsibilities- Enter and interpret vital statistical, financial, and technical data into advanced computer systems, enabling analysis and categorization.
- Maintain accurate offender records by reviewing and updating information from various documents, using standardized codes, and making corrections as needed.
- Serve as a conduit for investigations by sending and receiving critical information and messages through information centers, and providing clear explanations to non-technical users.
- Respond to inquiries from authorized personnel regarding information systems, ensuring compliance with criminal justice standards.
- Safeguard confidential information, maintain meticulous dissemination records, complete validation reports, and perform routine office equipment maintenance.
