IT Support, Technical Support
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team in a fully onsite role. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude who enjoys helping users with day-to-day technology needs in a professional office environment. While some responsibilities may overlap with traditional technical support functions, this is not a high-volume help desk or call center position.
The ideal candidate will assist employees with general hardware, software, and connectivity issues while supporting workstation setups, user accounts, meeting technology, and other routine IT-related tasks.
Responsibilities- Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and mobile devices
- Assist users with password resets, account lockouts, and basic account management
- Support Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Zoom
- Help users troubleshoot common technology issues such as lost files, connectivity problems, and peripheral setup
- Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems
- Set up workstations, monitors, and conference room technology for meetings and presentations
- Assist with basic networking and internet connectivity troubleshooting
- Maintain organized documentation of support requests and completed tasks
- Deliver excellent customer service while communicating technical information clearly and professionally
- Stay current with evolving technologies and IT best practices
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, technical support, desktop support, or a related role preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with Active Directory, password management, and user account support
- Understanding of networking fundamentals including Wi-Fi, IP addresses, routers, and internet connectivity
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilitieslt;
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma required; technical certification or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
