summary

the division supply chain manager will interact, assist, and manage improvements in and across amphenol-cit’s (amcit) global manufacturing facilities as assigned. This position will focus on driving synergies and process enhancements via personnel, software, and other related supply chain processes within the sites with the objective of improving amcit’s performance with regards to service, cost, quality, and inventory.

essential job functions

identify and assist in the implementation of supply chain processes
support standardization of best practices for planning and scheduling in sap across all sites
ensure successful implementation of erp (sap) processes and metrics
help support the sales and operations planning process
assist in the implementation of supply chain best practices
lead the supply chain excellence audit process
lead and support initiatives to drive inventory optimization and reductions
initiate and track activities to reduce amcit inventory reserves
support the optimization of amcit’s inbound and outbound freight
partner in the development of future supply chain personnel
improve performance of plant supply chain departments by employing lean strategies
responsible for meeting the relevant amcit targets to improve (tti)

education and/or experience
