Description
LUV Car Wash was founded in September 2021 and has rapidly grown to over 70 locations in six states, including CA, NV, FL, GA, PA, and NJ. The Site Maintenance Lead role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of our express car wash locations. The Lead will report directly to the General Manager, collaborate with the team to uphold high standards of equipment functionality, and enhance customer service.
Successful Maintenance Leads will follow the career track in LUV’s Facilities Maintenance Department.

The Maintenance Lead will report to the General Manager, work collaboratively with the team, and uphold high standards of equipment functionality and customer service. The role includes executing weekly and monthly preventative maintenance tasks, keeping detailed records, diagnosing equipment issues, performing repairs, and collaborating with external service technicians or electricians for complex repairs. The Lead will attend repair courses, maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks, keep track of equipment inventory, adhere to all safety guidelines, provide recommendations for equipment upgrades, maintain a reliable level of attendance and punctuality, and perform miscellaneous job‑related duties such as loading vehicles onto the conveyor and cleaning the tunnel and equipment.
EssentialFunctions
- Execute weekly and monthly preventive maintenance tasks.
- Keep detailed records of all preventive maintenance activities.
- Identify and diagnose equipment issues promptly.
- Perform necessary repairs and collaborate with external service technicians or electricians for complex repairs.
- Attend Sonny's College Repair and Maintenance courses and implement the acquired knowledge to improve maintenance practices.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks, including repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Keep track of equipment inventory and promptly report shortages or needs to the General Manager.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
- Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance.
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
- Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.
- Ability to walk for prolonged periods.
- Work outside in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time during shifts.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to bend, push, pull, and carry.
- Must be recommended by the General Manager to apply for this position.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven experience in equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent on‑time record.
- Having a sense of urgency while maintaining a friendly & courteous attitude.
