Daily tasks include supplying the production floor with raw materials, utilizing SAP and RF transactions, managing inventory, and ensuring quality and accurate inventory records.
Shift1st Shift – 7 am to 3 pm
Responsibilities- Use SAP for essential functions and coordinate bulk wire, sensor, or assembly activities.
- Perform accurate cycle counts and ensure physical counts match SAP quantities.
- Verify incoming paperwork for lot traceability.
- Process raw material returns and physically put material away.
- Maintain labeled and organized inventory storage areas.
- Interpret work order requirements to determine parts and materials.
- Apply FIFO and maintain lot control.
- Follow company standard work practices, procedures, and 5S practices.
- Problem‑solve and report issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain regular on‑site attendance.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform mathematical calculations including basic algebra and geometry.
- Operate safely, protecting yourself and others.
- Respond to audible or visual alarms and building evacuation procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Wave Certification preferred.
Language:
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Good judgment and decision‑making.
- Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Reliable and able to work additional hours on short notice.
- Interpret instructions from written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects and 5S related performance teams.
Hands to handle material; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist, kneel, crouch; lift up to 50 lbs independently, or up to 2000 lbs with mechanical lifts; work at heights; operate mobile equipment; meet specific vision requirements.
Work EnvironmentClean facility with machinery, chemicals, and potential hazards, controlled by engineering and administrative controls.
Personal Protective Equipment- Safety toed shoes (ASTM or ANSI standards)
- Safety glasses (ANSI Z87.1)
- Hearing protection in specific locations
