Starting rate: $21.52/hour plus $1.50 shift differential. 2nd shift Monday - Friday (1:00 pm - 9:00 pm).
Job Responsibilities- Operate various conduit equipment: mills, deburring wheels, benders, saws, specialty machines, turning centers, milling centers and hand tools.
- Operate material‑handling equipment as required.
- Perform complex set‑ups on equipment.
- Read and interpret gauging equipment, including digital calipers, protractors and custom gauges.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Visually inspect workpiece before and after machining for defects.
- Perform set‑ups on saws, benders, conduit line, coupling machines, mills, deburring equipment, etc. as needed.
- Keep machinery running optimally within department and work with team lead/supervisor/maintenance as required.
- Optimize set‑ups to increase production while maintaining safety and quality.
- Heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required depending on job.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience with machines, repairing machines, machine shop experience.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Prior knowledge of conduit machinery preferred.
