Position: Cable Shop Technician (Wire Harness Assembly)

Randstad is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Cable Shop Technician to join our client’s manufacturing team! In this role, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality electrical wire harnesses used in various electronic applications. The ideal candidate possesses a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and collaborates effectively with team members to uphold rigorous production standards.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in wire harness or cable assembly within a factory or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in utilizing diverse hand and power tools.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift and move manufacturing materials as required.
Compensation & Schedule
  • Salary: $37,440 - $43,679.99 per year
  • Shift: First
  • Work hours:

    8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Education:

    High School

Responsibilities
  • Build and assemble wire harnesses according to technical specifications, blueprints, wire lists, parts lists, and BOM.
  • Cut, strip, crimp, terminate, and solder wires safely and efficiently using hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment.
  • Conduct ongoing quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, communicating them appropriately to supervisors or team leads.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation.
