• Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR)
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
• Three years of experience in a long‑term health care setting
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Successful completion of Level II background check and drug test

• Experience with Matrix Care
• Experience in staff development / in‑service training
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Provide quality professional care to veteran residents; conduct assessments; administer medications per orders; document accurately; supervise RN, LPN, CNA and other allied health professionals; work under Director of Nursing.
• Supervise nursing staff on assigned shift; ensure proper shift assignments and compliance; manage coverage; maintain regulatory compliance.
• Identify emergencies; make rounds; maintain nursing standards; implement policies and procedures; educate staff.
• Ensure accurate time sheets and payroll; discipline staff; review incidents and reports; handle verbal orders; employ CPR when necessary.
• Assist Nursing Program Specialist with assessments for Resident Care Plan meetings; ensure documentation within 24 hours.
• Participate in utilization of supplies; maintain equipment; assist in emergencies; maintain clean environment; census and satisfaction; engage in continuing education and quality improvement.
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
