Healthcare United is seeking a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established outpatient pain management practice in Northeast Florida. This position offers a full-time outpatient schedule, collaborative physician support, and the opportunity to provide comprehensive pain management care in a multidisciplinary clinical environment. The practice is dedicated to improving patient function, reducing pain, and enhancing quality of life through individualized treatment plans.
The incoming provider will work alongside experienced physicians and clinical staff caring for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for an APP seeking long-term growth within a supportive specialty practice.
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
- Review diagnostic studies, imaging, and medical histories
- Develop individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic pain conditions
- Assist with medication management and ongoing patient monitoring
- Coordinate care plans and treatment recommendations with physicians
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and expectations
- Assist with interventional pain procedures when applicable
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Active Florida APRN or Physician Assistant license
- Board certification as applicable
- DEA registration or eligibility prior to start date
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, spine care, primary care, or related specialty preferred
- Experience assisting with interventional procedures is a plus
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
