Work Week:
Flexible hours are available, starting anytime from 5:00 AM to midnight as needed based on café hours.

Job Summary

At Tropical Smoothie Café, we promote a healthier lifestyle by serving delicious food and smoothies with a touch of tropical fun. Team Members are essential to this mission, embodying the values of solid relationships, playing to win, creative spirit, and living better.

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Interact with team members, customers, and vendors using the company core values.
  • Deliver “Unparalleled Hospitality” to each customer.
  • Prepare ingredients for food and smoothies.
  • Assemble and serve fresh food and smoothies to the specified standards.
  • Follow sanitation practices while handling and preparing food.
  • Set up and monitor food and smoothie work stations.
  • Clean and organize kitchen, workstations, dining area, restrooms, and other café areas.
  • Operate the register, take customer orders, handle cash accurately, and be responsible for the cash drawer.
  • Follow all safety and security policies set by the brand.
  • Perform any additional tasks necessary to run the café.
Required Skills / Abilities

To perform this job successfully, candidates must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Physical Requirements
  • Continuous standing and walking throughout each shift.
  • Bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds (e.g., stocking, refilling ice, taking out trash).
  • Maintain constant face‑to‑face interactions with crew members and customers.
  • Navegate safely in a fast‑paced café environment.
  • Multi‑task and remain positive under sometimes stressful conditions.
  • Walk, stand, bend, reach overhead, and stretch frequently.
  • Lift no heavier than 50 pounds.
