Assistant Manager

Overview

Jersey Mike's Subs is looking for an Assistant General Manager to join our team located in Point Pleasant, New Jersey.

• Serve as a key holder.
• Perform all tasks related to opening and closing of the store.
• Bake bread and perform all prep work.
• Manage and lead a crew of 3 to 7 people.
• Proficient in slicing.
• Create employee schedules.
• Place inventory orders.
• Fill in for the manager in all capacities when needed.
• Assist with employee training.
• Lead by example.
• Participate in management team meetings and strategy sessions.

• High school degree or equivalent.
• One (1) year of QSR experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer.
• Serve Safe certification – Food Handler.
• Reliable transportation.

• Excellent product and menu knowledge.
• Positive and outgoing personality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Desire to improve self and skill sets.
• Effective communication with guests.
• Participation in all Jersey Mike's training programs.
• Reliability and ability to meet schedule requirements.
