Job Description

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee has a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, but it is a separate company and a separate employer. If you are hired for the job described in this posting, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA.

Only the franchisee is responsible for employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling employees. McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters at the restaurant and will not receive a copy of your employment application.

Responsibilities
  • Lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
  • Provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness.
  • Plan for each shift, monitor performance, and take action to meet McDonald’s standards.
  • Monitor safety, security, and profitability; communicate with the next Shift Manager for smooth transitions.
  • Assist assigned departments in meeting their goals and targets during shifts.
  • Perform tasks such as food safety, internal communication, inventory management, daily maintenance and cleanliness, crew management, quality food production, exceptional customer service, safety and security, scheduling, and training.
Qualifications
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in a corporate-owned and operated restaurant.
  • Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for working in a fast‑paced environment.
