Crew Member, Restaurant​/Food Service

CREW MEMBERPay Rate: $14.00 / hour

Primary Responsibilities:

Make all pizzas, sides, and other products in accordance to Marco’s Pizza Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and recipes

Takes accurate orders with enthusiasm, professionalism, and demonstrating exceptional customer service

Answer customer questions with accuracy and confidence

Prepares ingredients needed for pizza and other products including but not limited to: dough, sliced fruits and vegetables, bagged meats and cheeses

Make and execute orders in accordance with customer preferences and modifications

Discuss and apply applicable specials with customers and apply discounts to orders as requested

Complete store cleaning tasks as assigned

Contribute to a welcoming and positive environment for customers and fellow coworkers

Comply with all Department of Health standards in regards to food safety procedures, including but not limited to: hand hygiene, food/product dating, temperature control, and employee illness reporting

Maintain cleanliness of food contact surfaces, including washing and sanitizing dishes, food prep areas, and other surfaces

Provide a 5-star service and product to all guests

Perform with a sense of urgency and integrity in all tasks

Meets attendance expectations, including but not limited to: arriving on-time for scheduled shifts, making oneself available for call-ins or shift swaps as requested by the General Manager, demonstrating grace and flexibility with clocking in or out early as requested by the Manager-on-Duty, independently arranging for shift coverage as unforeseen circumstances impact ability to adhere to published schedule, and submitting time off requests at least two weeks in advance.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time (10 hours) on any given dayNeed to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Serv Safe Food Handler certification

Must complete certification course and furnish certification within 60 days of hire
