Full Time - Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 hourly
- Shift: Day (approximately 6am-2pm)

- Perform all dietary services as outlined in the Resident Handbook and Care Plan.
- Support food service programs that stimulate and maximize the unique interests and attributes of each resident.
- Promptly resolve any potential food service and care coordination problems with team members and leaders.
- Under supervisor direction, assist all food service personnel as needed, including filling glasses, setting and resetting tables.
- Monitor salad bar, beverage and service stations and refill as directed.
- Assist the cook with serving all meals and clean the dining room upon supervisor request.
- Wash all utensils, chinaware, eating silverware and glassware; wash and dry coffee pots and clean the coffee urn, including the beverage bar and other assigned areas.
- Clean the entire dish room: wash floor mats, drain and clean the dishwasher, shine stainless steel, organize the janitor’s closet, sweep and mop the dish room, kitchen floors, storage areas, employee break room, and delivery entrance as scheduled or requested.
- Vacuum the dining room floor as needed.
- Deliver room service trays as instructed.
- Present a professional demeanor that reflects the corporate philosophy of service and genuine interest in each resident’s unique needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Push, pull, and lift at least 30 pounds; frequent transportation of residents in a wheelchair.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for periods up to eight hours with breaks as provided.
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
English language proficiency adequate for interacting with residents and staff and following instructions. - Familiarity and willingness to work with the elderly population.
- Must be able to routinely follow written and verbal instructions.
