UF Health - 400 Health Park Boulevard - Responsibilities:
Maintains required certifications, licensing, weapons qualifications, and training to maintain professional competency required for the position.;
Responds to all emergencies and disasters which may require the officer to remain on the property until the emergency or disaster is terminated.;
Makes rounds on campus as directed and coordinates with law enforcement, fire department, or medical staff for assistance.;
Responds to active threats involving the use of dangerous weapons which threaten the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors.;
Monitors entrances and exits to ensure authorized persons are allowed entry into the facility.
