Responds to emergencies and disasters and may remain on the property until the emergency or disaster is terminated;
Makes rounds on campus and coordinates with law enforcement, fire department, or medical staff for assistance;
Responds to active threats involving the use of dangerous weapons;
Monitors entrances and exits to ensure authorized persons are allowed entry into the facility;
Conducts escorts of patients, staff, and visitors
