Summary
Responsible for repair and maintenance of all physical facilities (both interior and exterior) throughout the hotel property. Responsible for basic Engineering and hotel maintenance including: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, drywall repairs, lock repairs, and life safety!
Essential Duties / Tasks / ResponsibilitiesCore duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Must be able to work varied shifts! Morning/Evening! 8:00AM-4:30PM and 2:30PM-11:00PM
- Analyze basic HVAC problems and make basic repairs.
- Be able to use drain cleaning equipment.
- Repair and replace plumbing piping and perform basic plumbing repairs.
- Perform guest room preventive maintenance.
- Ability to handle guest room calls and problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with our guests and exemplify GUEST Service Standards.
- Successfully completes all mandated compliance training and reviews all departmental safety information; MSD sheets and knows locations of all emergency response equipment. Practice emergency procedures in compliance with hotel/company standards, react and assist in any hotel emergency.
