Company: Local Electrical company
Salary: $60,000 - $120,000 per year
Location: Orlando, Florida (with upcoming second location in St. Augustine, Florida)
Travel & Night Work: May be required. Must be able to work out-of-town and during nights on occasion.
Responsibilities- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of all systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of industrial electrical experience.
- Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.
- Ability to thoroughly follow instructions.
- Ability to understand and anticipate the needs of team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Proficient in blueprint reading.
- Understanding of one‑line diagrams and PLCs.
- Class A CDL (preferred).
- Highway lighting experience (preferred).
- Wastewater and water treatment plant experience (preferred).

- Paid certifications: CDL‑A, Crane Certification (rigging, signaling, operating), IMSA, Maintenance of Traffic, Traffic Signal Technician Levels I, II, and III.
