Role SummaryAs an Adventure Readiness Specialist, you are a critical part of the Rivian Service team during peak seasonal periods. You’ll help provide seamless care that keeps owners focused on their adventures and Rivians ready for the journey ahead. This role is an entry point offering hands-on experience and development focused on preparing you for a future as a Service Technician.

This role spans three key areas with opportunities to learn and contribute:
- Vehicle & Site Operations:
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming vehicle inventory.
- Maintain vehicle quality and delivery readiness through washing, detailing, and charging.
- Manage vehicle logistics, including lot organization, shuttling vehicles, and secure key management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized service center, adhering to 5S principles.
- Service Production Support:
- Assist technicians with basic vehicle repairs, focusing on Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) tasks and Express Lane work.
- Learn to safely use basic hand tools and power tools under direct supervision.
- Support the workshop by maintaining tool and equipment readiness.
- Training & Career Development
- Participate in the TRAIL program — guided hands-on learning, technical training, and professional growth.
- Receive mentorship and on-the-job training for the Service Technician role.
- Complete Rivian Learning Network (RLN) modules.
- Explore a dedicated pathway into a long-term career as a Service Technician.
- Maintain a flexible, all-hands-on-deck mindset by providing cross-functional support to other areas as needed, prioritizing primary technical training objectives.
- High School Diploma, GED, or recognized equivalency preferred.
- Previous technical experience (e.g., automotive repair, mechanical maintenance, electrical work) or adjacent technical industry experience is highly preferred.
- Strong desire to learn, adaptability, and a hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and no recent suspensions or revocations (within 3–5 years).
- Ability to work a flexible 40-hour week, including varied shifts, weekends, and holidays. Physical tasks may include sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent use of hands for tool use, data entry, and customer or partner communications.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or schematics.
- This role may involve regular interaction with customers, affiliates, and suppliers at Rivian facilities, on mobile routes, or at community events.
The hourly range for this role is USD 19.08 – 21.84 for Florida & Georgia-based applicants. Final salary is determined by factors including competencies, education, certifications, experience, skills, location, shift, and organizational needs.
The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual performance bonus.
