CDL Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods and other articles of trade to job sites for installation. The CDL Driver is tasked with driving and maintaining trucks that are assigned to them, as well as working closely with our team of dispatchers in order to plan routes and make timely deliveries.

- Drive long distances to deliver materials to jobsites in a timely manner.
- Load, unload and record cargo deliveries.
- Refuel and clean vehicle.
- Inspect trucks and record issues; report road incidents to the dispatcher and mechanical problems to maintenance personnel.
- Follow traffic laws and accident procedures.
- Keep an activity log and log hours; plan routes using GPS system.
- Maintain commercial driver requirements up to date.
- Proven work experience as a truck driver with extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
- Hands‑on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.).
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).

- Must possess a current and valid Class A CDL or commercial driver license.
- Must possess the ability to drive manual transmission and no "Manual Transmission Restriction" on license.
- Must be able to pass FMCSA Clearinghouse Query requirements.
- Must provide a medical certificate.
- May be required to pass a MVR and controlled substance test; background and criminal record checks may be required.
- Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.).
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks such as driving for several hours, loading and unloading equipment, walking on varying ground surfaces, and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Experience working outdoors and under adverse environmental and weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including day or night shifts, weekends and holidays, and overtime.
- Computer literacy and ability to use hand/power tools and manual dexterity to operate keyboards and smart phones.
- Strong teamwork, decision‑making, and people‑management skills.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must maintain company standards post‑employment for background checks, criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing.
