Overview
CL A Truck Drivers Home Weekends Running Midwest & Southeast (Full Time). Types of Jobs: OTR Van.
Class A drivers with one year verifiable OTR or Regional driving experience in the last four years run the Southeast and Midwest while getting home every week. At least one weekend day is part of the home time. All the freight is no touch.
ResponsibilitiesDrive predominantly Southeast (as far as VA) and Midwest (as far as Texas). Home every week (not guaranteed for the weekends). No-touch dry van freight; 65% drop and hook. Typical weekly mileage and earnings opportunities are described below.
Note:
This section reflects route and compensation expectations as described by the employer.
- Pay starts at 0.60 CPM with bonuses: +0.03 CPM for completing 9,000 miles in a month; +0.06 CPM for 10,000 miles in a month.
- Average driver mileage is around 2,100 miles per week; top drivers exceed 2,500 miles per week.
- Riders and pets are welcome from day one.
- All freight is no touch; 65% of freight is drop and hook.
- Full benefits start after 60 days and include medical, dental, 401(k), PTO, and more.
- Must have 1 full year of Class A experience in the last 3 years (OTR or regional; local does not count).
- No DOT-recordable preventable accidents in the last 5 years.
- No more than 2 non-DOT-recordable accidents in the last 3 years.
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years. (Warnings count; exceptions for reckless driving, 20+ MPH over, following too closely, or DOT-recordable accident involvement.)
- Never failed or refused a DOT drug or alcohol test
