Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager develops and manages all import and export regulations and policies. .
Job Description- Develops/manages all import and export regulations and policies.
- Coordinates customs audits and inquires.
- Assist in negotiating international freight and broker/forwarder contracts and requirements.
- Develop international trade policies and procedures.
- Manage all adherence to all license requirements and insure that all certifications and requirements are met-e.g. (NAFTA, CTPAT, ITAR,EAR. )
- Work closely with technical and legal entities to ensure tariff classification compliance.
- Develops and implements logistics services to support each element of a business areas' supply chain model.
- 7-10 years of international trade experience with multi-national company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence and work with senior management on complex trade issues
- Good problem solving skills with ability to develop new ideas in order to provide innovative solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to initiate and sustain productive business relationships
- Knowledge of TSA requirements
- Good knowledge of electronics manufacturing environment and materials and processes.
B.S. in international business, or similar field, or equivalent, required.
