Reports to:
Project Mgr, V.P. Operations
Coordinate subcontractors and company labor force to provide construction services to our customers in a professional and safe manner. Maintain project schedule and monitor manpower requirements as needed to assure performance while maintaining quality assurance.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties1. PROJECT DOCUMENTS
- A. Have clear understanding of contract documents.
- B. Maintain file records in proper order in field.
- C. Maintain up-to-date construction drawings.
- D. Maintain and follow shop drawings.
- A. Prepare and update Critical Path Method schedules.
- B. Schedule and/or attend on site sub meetings as required for performance/coordination.
- A. Manage your site.
- B. Coordinate all trades and company labor forces.
- C. Assure compliance with all documents.
- D. Assure quality control.
- E. Document and advise subs of deficiencies.
- F. Make objective decisions and seek creative solutions to problem.
- G. Minimize warranty issues through good reviews and management.
- H. Value Engineer projects and details.
- I. Assist project team with material procurement process.
- J. Oversee project closeout.
- A. Effectively communicate with all project team members and building owner.
- B. Document in writing important verbal directions given or taken.
- C. Build relationships.
- D. Positive leadership utilizing the values of Chapple’s mission statement.
- A. All paper work completed on a timely basis.
- B. Maintain on going "as built drawings".
- C. Detailed job reports daily.
- D. Assure subcontract adherence for acknowledgment and insurance.
- A. Adhere to and assure compliance of all trades relating to Chapple Design
- Build’s Safety Program and State and Federal Regulations. - B. Report all violations to Corporate Safety Manager and V.P. Operations.
- C. Hold on-site safety meetings with subs weekly. Report same to office with attendance and brief description of issues.
- A. Maintain truck, trailers, and equipment.
- C. Maintain personal appearance.
- A. Ability to work productively with others.
- B. Problem solving ability.
- D. Work efficiently and effectively.
- E. Self-motivated.
- G. Ability to handle stressful situations and foresight to seek appropriate solution.
