This full-time opportunity for the  school year involves supporting high school students across two locations, bringing valuable impact and building diverse connections. What You'll Bring:
  • Master's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or National Certified School Psychologist credential
  • Knowledge of federal/state special education rules (IDEA, 504, "child find")
  • Skilled in assessment measures, behavior plans, and effective student support strategies
Your Core Responsibilities:
  • Guide student teams through Functional Behavioral Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Consult and clarify educational strategies for families
  • Present assessment data and collaborate with IEP teams for student success
  • Coordinate and facilitate IEP meetings as LEA representative
  • Provide direct counseling (individual/group) for academic, social, emotional, and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers and school support teams on MTSS initiatives
  • Connect families with school/community agencies for enhanced student support
