Job Description New Product Launch Industrial Engineer Job Description Objective This position acts as the project manager and team lead for the manufacturing process design of new product launches. This role provides the necessary link between design engineering and full-scale production to implement efficient and cost-effective manufacturing systems. This position is responsible for managing the project, from initial business award to successful production implementation, while strictly adhering to budget and timeline constraints.

• Process Design:
  Design and develop comprehensive manufacturing processes for new products, ensuring equipment requirements are fully aligned with product specifications and capacity requirements.
• Project Management:
  Manage the entire project lifecycle, including organizing and leading cross-functional meetings, facilitating technical design reviews, and driving accountability across stakeholders. Ensure all milestones are met, delivering the project on time and within the allocated budget.
• Capacity Planning:
  Analyze and determine capacity requirements, ensuring alignment with production volume forecasts and efficiency targets.
• New Business quotation - Understand costs associated with manufacturing equipment and labor needed to quote new business opportunities

• Project Management:
  Proven ability to lead complex projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and conduct formal design reviews.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Working knowledge of process flow charts, PFMEA and their relationship to DFMEA.
• Knowledge of machine specification development, Financial Acumen:
  Experience in budget management and cost tracking for capital equipment and process implementation.
• Communication:
  Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical requirements clearly to diverse teams.
• Industry
  
  Experience:
  
  Experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment, specifically within automotive electronics (Tier 1 or OEM level) is strongly preferred.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, process engineering, or related field.
• Experience:
  
  5+ years of experience in industrial engineering or process engineering, with a focus on new product launch (NPL).
