$15.00/hr - $19.00/hr

This role is responsible for the maintenance and appearance of attractions. The Mechanic will assist with repairs and maintenance of attractions and related equipment. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform track and go-kart repairs and performance checks.
• Maintain go-kart performance.
• Repair equipment, troubleshoot issues, and keep attractions in top condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and inventory.
• Follow scheduled preventive maintenance for all equipment.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Ensure safety rules are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain tools and machinery supplies.
• Keep the go-kart pit, shop, and track areas clean and safe.
• Assist staff with track operations.
• Perform facility cleaning and other maintenance duties as assigned.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Read and interpret diagnostics from manuals.
• Perform other maintenance tasks, including building and general maintenance of attractions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED; auto mechanic training or 6 months related experience preferred.
• Availability on weekends is required.
• Experience in go-kart, golf cart, or motorcycle repair is preferred.
• Ability to handle various tasks and repairs.
• Experience using a multimeter for diagnostics.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.

• Work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distractions.
• Move around the facility, stand for long periods.
• Perform physical activities like standing, kneeling, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling.
• Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 300 lbs. with assistance.
• Wear personal protective gear.
• Operate tools and equipment as required.
